During the visit, they expressed a strong interest in establishing both academic and industrial exchange collaborations with Department of Pharmacy of Bangladesh University.
A prestigious university of China having its own industrial setup in China would like to offer professional training opportunities within its factory for the students and teachers of the Department of Pharmacy of Bangladesh University. The delegation proposed a collaborative initiative whereby students from Bangladesh University would have the opportunity to receive hands-on training at their facility and potentially gain employment experience there. They have also talked about the oppotunies of doing higher studies by the BU students and teachers in their university as well.
The meeting was attended by respected members of the university, including the Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration, Professor Dr. Tajul Islam, the Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Social Science and Law, Mr. Humayun Kabir, the Advisor of the Department of Pharmacy, Professor Dr. S. M. Abdur Rahman, the Head of the Department of Pharmacy, Professor Abul Kalam Azad, the Coordinator of the Department of Pharmacy, Fahmida Binte Anower, as well as the Heads of the Department of Architecture, EEE, Mathematics, CSE, BBA, English, and Economics.
Following the meeting, the visitors toured the university campus and departments expressing their sincere interest in future collaboration with Bangladesh University. This visit marks a significant step towards strengthening international partnerships and creating new opportunities for academic and professional development for the students of the Department of Pharmacy and other Departments of Bangladesh University as well.
Bangladesh University is looking forward to fostering a fruitful and long-term collaboration agreement with its esteemed partners from China in near future.
